Some of the therapeutic techniques utilized for individuals, couples, and adolescents are solution focused, client-centered, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also routinely include calming techniques, empathy, and practicing active listening. Throughout my practice, I employ creative tools to address relationships, anxiety, and depression by using art, music, and Narrative Therapy.

Or if you sense you or your family isn’t living their best life, but do not know how to move forward… I believe that with my encouragement and guidance, I may be able to help you learn how to add new tools and techniques to your “tool boxes” which can be utilized to build the grit needed to thrive in life.
Hello, I am Lindsey Beckman. We all have strengths, sometimes we need help lifting the weight… when we reach out and take a chance… that’s what I call True Grit – the passion and persistence for long-term goals!
I graduated from Texas Wesleyan in 2011. After living in Houston for a few years, I am glad to be back closer to family in North Texas. I have worked in the helping field in one way or another for most of my work life. In the beginning of my career, I worked in the Tarrant County Juvenile Detention Center & Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program facilitating groups on behavior management, communication, relationships, and coping skills. After that, I worked at Lena Pope and I specialized in working with adolescents, families, & couples. Eventually, the culmination of my experiences lead me into private practice – where I see many different clients working through all sorts of issues, recovering from trauma and finding their way forward. I am a firm believer in personal strength and believe all individuals can learn tools to overcome hardships and loss.
